World Synergy is pleased to announce its partnership with Block Buddy, having recently released a new and improved mobile app for regional anesthesia education, Block Buddy Pro. This interactive app focuses on providing ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve block and Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) education to anesthesia providers. It was designed and launched by the World Synergy App Design Team.
Block Buddy is owned by highly skilled and respected anesthesia providers Scott Urigel and Jeff Molter. Urigel says, “I couldn’t have asked for better partners in World Synergy for designing this updated version of our mobile app. The team worked quickly and efficiently, and we’ve seen significant user adaptation of the new app.”
Block Buddy Pro offers lessons, videos, an Rx guide, and additional resources to help anesthesia providers keep their skills sharp and provide the best care possible for their patients. New features include:

About the Owners
Scott Urigel and Jeff Molter are co-owners of Western Reserve Anesthesia Education/Block Buddy, which provides both the Block Buddy Pro app and educational conferences for anesthesia providers and students. Both Scott and Jeff have received numerous awards and accolades for their service over the years. Jeff received the 2019 Ohio CRNA of the Year Award in April. Scott was honored with the Alice Magaw Outstanding Clinician Award at the national meeting of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) in August 2019.
