The GDPR: What It Is
As of today, the GDPR is a law in effect that protects all EU citizens’ personal information by governing businesses that process the information.
Who Is Impacted?
The law applies to companies inside or outside the EU that offer goods/services to individuals within the EU and collect the following personal data of any EU citizens:
- A name
- A home address
- An email address
- An Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Personal credit card information
